Joel Keith Brooks

Graveside funeral services for Joel Keith Brooks, age 57, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Marie Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Hutto officiating.

Mr. Brooks was born on September 27, 1966, in Dublin, Georgia. He was a member of Marie Baptist Church and was a self-employed auto body shop repairman. Mr. Brooks passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at his residence from ALS.

He is survived by parents, Joel Frank and Judy Brooks of Dublin; special sister, Wendy Wickizer Simpson (Jay); special stepdaughter, Misty Brantley (Clint); and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Jay Simpson, Clint Brantley, Steve Dixon, Kevin Wickizer, Greg Woodard and David Darsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Bland, Preston Thomas, Kevin Braddy, Shane McGowan, Greg Milks, Steven Hasty and Scott Brooks.

Casual attire for attendance is requested by the family as Keith preferred his jeans and hat.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to ALS United of Georgia or the Marie Baptist Church Roofing Fund.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of the funeral arrangements.
