John Gavetti Jr.

John Gavetti Jr., age 85, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville. Mr. Gavetti was born on September 19, 1935, in Pennsylvania. He served 25 years in the Army, retiring as a master sergeant. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Donna Gavetti, his wife, Gloria Jean Gavetti, and a daughter, Bonnie Knight. He is survived by his children, Donna Gavetti, John Gavetti, and William Gavetti, sister, Sue Zebley, 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later time. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
