John Quincy Johnson

Memorial services for John Quincy Johnson, age 73 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 4, 2021, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Dr. Cliff Morris will officiate. Mr. Johnson was born November 26, 1948, in East Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Quinton Augustus and Ethel Lee Hall Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan Rebecca Thomas. He was a retired correctional officer for the State of Georgia Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Peace Officers Associations of Georgia He was a previous member of East Dublin Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dublin. Mr. Johnson passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Serenity Place. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Susie Drew Johnson of East Dublin, 3 brothers, Leon Johnson of East Dublin, Robert (Jill) Johnson of Montrose, and Edward Johnson of East Dublin, and a sister, Elene (Glenn) Williams of East Dublin. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
