John A. Price

Funeral services for John A. Price, age 79, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Nails Creek Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Alan Heath will officiate.

Mr. Price was born on January 2, 1945, in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was a graduate of Wrightsville High School and a farmer. He was a lifelong member of Nails Creek Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Treasurer. His priorities in life were Faith, Family and Farming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlton W. and Ruth Ola Price, sister Joyce P. Durden (Ernest F. Durden, Sr.), sister-in-law Loyce Price, brother James L. Price and nephews James Wheeler and Ernest F. Durden, Jr. Mr. Price passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home.

Surviving family members are sister June Everett (B.J. Everett), brother Carlton W. Price, Jr. (Uncle Dub), sister-in-law Annie Ruth Price, nieces and nephews, Kenny and Linda Everett, Jeanie Wheeler, Cara and Mickey Hankinson, Kevin and Vonda Everett, Angela Durden, Al and Cindy Durden, Andy and Linda Durden, Barry and Mylora Durden, Terry and Joann Price, Kelli and Michael Suddeth, Jason Price, Tommy and Mary Ellen Price, Mary and Donald Moore and many great and great great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M., Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be his nephews.
