John Samuel

Funeral services for John Samuel will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 14, 2026, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Mr. Ronnie Philip and Dr. Damian Francis will officiate.

Mr. Samuel was born October 25, 1938 in Kerala, India. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. WV Samuel. He retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center where he was a dedicated nurse for 30 years. He was a strong Christian and relied on his faith in all the aspects of his life and his quiet strength, generosity, compassion, and joyful countenance left a lasting impression on his family and friends. Mr. Samuel passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Samuel will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Susan Samuel of Dublin; his son, Joe Samuel, MD, of Atlanta; his daughter, Joyce Samuel, Esq., of Concord, NH; as well as 3 grandchildren and many cherished family and friends.
