John Benjamin Smith

Graveside funeral services for John Benjamin Smith, age 64, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Northview Cemetery with Rev. Greg Lowery officiating.

Mr. Smith was born on December 22, 1957. He was the son of the late, Asa Benjamin Smith Jr. and Betty Jo Crawford Smith. He was a longtime resident of Cadwell, Ga. He graduated from Auburn College, received the Dean and Mrs. J.P. Vidosic Scholarship award from Middle Georgia University and attended flight school with honors. Mr. Smith passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Fairview Park Hospital.

He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Mary Smith of Cadwell; brother, Asa Smith of Warner Robins; daughter, Michele (Chris) Melton of Rentz; two sons, Denver Dulmage III and David (Sandy) Dulmage of Rentz; grandchildren, David Dulmage Jr., Ashley Cook, Amy McMillan, Briana Melton, Kira Melton and Aiden Melton; and great granddaughter, Willow Cook.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
