Johnnie Gordon Fulford

Funeral services for Johnnie Gordon Fulford, age 94 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Bracewell Family Cemetery. Rev. Hugh Spivey will officiate. Mr. Fulford was born October 21, 1925 in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was the son of the late Eulie and Vera Kitrell Fulford. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Wynema Raburn, a son, John Kenneth Fulford, a daughter, Kathy Ricks, and sisters, Mae Chalker, Evie Harvill, Evelyn Chalker and Bronnell Graziani. He was a member of the Laurens County Civil Defense, and the Laurens County Sportsman Club. He was a member of The Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church. He was a self-employed Plumber. Mr. Fulford passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020. Mr. Fulford is survived by his 3 daughters, Linda Pope of Minter, Judy Tyson of East Dublin, and Connie (Joel) Gillis of East Dublin, a son-in-law, Allen Ricks of East Dublin, 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Don Tyson, Dennis Johnson, Ricky Ricks, Jamie Ricks, Sammy Ricks, Chris Gillis, and Timmy Ricks. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, March 16, 2020 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
