Johnny Lee Boyd

Mr. Johnny Lee Boyd, age 81, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Boyd was born July 28, 1944, in Moultrie, Georgia. He was the son of the late Terry Lafayette Boyd and Ruby Lou Howard Boyd. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines as a Seargent during the Vietnam War. He was a retired pipefitter at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. He was a member of the Dublin Church of Christ. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Melissa Boyd of East Dublin; 4 children, Jessie Lee Boyd (Laura) of Glenwood, Candie Renfro (Lawrence) of Dublin, Thomas Boyd (Tina) of Rentz, and Christina Batten of Cedar Mountain, NC; a brother, Jerry Boyd of Bushnell, FL; 4 sisters, Barbara Strickland of Bushnell, FL, Patsy Rogers (Elvis) of Webster, FL, Alice Mealer of Webster, FL, and Janice Boyd; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Mr. Boyd will be memorialized by cremation.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
