Johnny Marshall Mcdonald

Memorial services for Johnny Marshall McDonald, age 81 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Collins will officiate. Mr. McDonald was born October 9, 1937 in Shawmut, Alabama. He was the son of the late Silas Delas and Roma Laura Warren McDonald. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Warren McDonald. He has lived in Laurens County for the past 34 years. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is retired from Parker Aerospace where he worked for 16 years. He served in the United States Army. Mr. McDonald passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Scott Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. McDonald is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Jean McDonald of East Dublin, 7 children, Johnny (Debbie) McDonald of Murfreesboro, TN, Larry McDonald of FL, Kay (Terry) Moore of Pineview, Kenneth (Dawn) McDonald of Hawkinsville, Steve (Carol) McDonald of New Port News, VA, Tana (James) Wright of Blairsville, and Donna (Donnie) Barwick of East Dublin, 19 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
