Funeral services for Johnny Wade Spicer, age 50 will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Chad Kennison and Rev. Matthew Schluckebier will officiate.
Mr. Spicer was born on December 25, 1964 in Orlando, Florida. He was the son of the late Alton E. Spicer. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Spicer, and his maternal grandparents, James and Grace Hall. He was a member of Lighthouse Church of God. He was a forklift operator for Middle Georgia Distribution. Mr. Spicer passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Medical Center of Navicent Health.
Mr. Spicer is survived by his wife, Beth Spicer of Dublin, his mother and stepfather, Donna and Jim Powell of Dublin, 2 daughters, Hillari Linae Spicer of Dublin, and Natalie Kay Spicer of Dublin, a brother, Gregory A. Spicer of Georgetown, DE, a sister and brother-in-law, Nicole and Chad Kennison, nephews and nieces, Cameron L. Kennison, Callie R. Kennison, and Dana Spicer Nibblet, and many more extended family in Florida, Delaware, and North Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday, March 27, 2015 at the funeral home.
