Jordan Lee Shiver

Funeral services for Jordan Lee Shiver, age 32 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 3, 2022, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Shiver Cemetery. Rev. Dwayne Bedingfield will officiate. Jordan was born on December 22, 1989, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the son of the late Billy Keith Shiver. He was also preceded in death by his infant sister, Jesse Marie, and his lifelong best friend Shane Pernell. He was a loving and caring son, a loving fiancé and an even better daddy. He left us suddenly on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in the true Jordie fashion of "If you're not first, you're last." He loved the outdoors, history books, traveling, music, riding dirt roads, the stars in the sky, almost as much as McDonalds cheeseburgers with ketchup and cheese only, his truck, and his Newports. Jordan didn't hold anything back and lived his life wide-open and to the fullest. He would give you the shirt off his back, and if he wasn't wearing one, he would charm someone nearby out of theirs. He was the person you wanted to be around and could light up the room with his smile and laughter. He was of the Baptist faith. Jordan is survived by his mother, Kimberly Cherry Shiver; a stepmother, Darlene Shiver; a Fiancé, Jennifer Luecke; a grandmother, Becky Cherry; 2 sons, Benjamin Shiver, and Bowen Shiver; 2 daughters, Bayleigh Shiver, and Emily Christopher Shiver; a brother, Johnathan Shiver; a sister, Kelli Shiver, and his mentor and advocate Christopher Silver. He had a special love for Bodhi and Bowen Brewer. Pallbearers will be Brett Padgett, Mark Padgett, L.V. Lee, Peyton Lee, Cage Lee, and Greg Tanner. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the funeral home and are welcome to visit at Jordan and Jennifer's home at 214 Smithfield Road, Dublin, Georgia 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
