Joseph Harold Ivey

Funeral services for Joseph Harold Ivey, age 77 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Liberty Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Sammy Hall will officiate.

Mr. Ivey was born March 17, 1947, in Swainsboro, Georgia. He was the son of the late Woodrow Hopkins and Lottie Mae Powell Ivey. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jerry Ivey and Linda Hood. He was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Ivey passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Atrium Health Navicent Hospital.

Mr. Ivey is survived by his wife, Elaine Ivey of Harrison; 2 sons, Joseph (Troy Cather) Ivey, Jr. of Pooler, and Chris (Tiffany) Ivey of Dublin; a daughter, Crystal (Ryan) Tribble of Harrison; a stepbrother, James Ivey of VA; a brother-in-law, Larry Hood of Wrightsville; 4 sisters-in-law, Geraldine Johnson of Dublin, Linda (Pedro) Pennington of Dudley, Patsy Windham of Alpharetta, and Nancy Fordham of Melbourne, FL; 4 grandchildren, Caleb Ivey, Landon Ivey, Garrett Ivey, and Caden Tribble, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Liberty Grove Baptist Church.
