Joseph Terry Roberson

Memorial services for Joseph Terry Roberson, age 71 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Kevin Tanner will officiate. Mr. Roberson was born December 26, 1950, in Sarasota, Florida. He was the son of the late David Lance Roberson. He was also preceded in death by the mother of his children, Mamie Powell Roberson, a son, Jeff May, a daughter, Linda Bass, and a brother, Danny Roberson. He was retired from the Department of Juvenile Justice as a Juvenile Probation/Parole Specialist. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where he led the Senior Adult Discipleship and the Visitation Team. Mr. Roberson passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at Lake Sinclair. Mr. Roberson is survived by his wife, Reba Cherry Roberson; his mother, Glenese Fordham Sanders; 3 sons, Robert Dale (Anna) May, David May, and Roger May; 3 daughters, Lynette Alligood, Karen Platt, and Linda (Shannon) Claxton; a daughter-in-law, Antoinette May; 3 brothers, Larry (Loraine) Roberson, Mike (Debbie) Roberson, and Keith (Janet) Roberson, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
