Joshua Arden Evans

Memorial services for Joshua Arden Evans, age 47 will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Kevin Tanner will officiate.

Mr. Evans was born January 30, 1978, in Opp, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Glen McAdams, and his paternal grandparents, John and Lillian Evans. He was a 1996 graduate of Dublin High School. He was also a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he was a Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He attended Georgia State and worked at DS Medical in Atlanta. He was a dedicated Alabama Football Fan due to his grandmother, Bobbie McAdams love of the game. Mr. Evans passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025

Mr. Evans is survived by his mother, Marcia Glynn McAdams Andrews; his father, Joseph Henry Evans; a maternal grandmother, Bobbie Thompson McAdams; 3 siblings, Joseph "Jody" Henry Evans, Jr. (Paige), Jada Evans Scott (Richard), and Jennifer Evans Thomas (Joey); nieces and nephews, Jackson Evans, Hollin Evans, Kailie Scott, Kloie Scott, Karlie Scott, Jaxten Thomas, and Jordyn Thomas; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the funeral home.
