Joy Fowler Brookins

Mrs. Joy Marie Fowler Brookins, age 76, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Shamrock Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Brookins was born December 9, 1943 in Portland, Oregon. She was the daughter of Joseph and Audie Gay. Mrs. Brookins was a retired cashier at Big Lots. Mrs. Brookins is survived by her children Donald G. Brookins Jr. (Kathy) , Lisa Brookins Ussery (Mickey) and Robert A. Brookins, her grandchildren Jennifer Farrell (Christopher), Chelsea Chambers (Zack), Jamie Brookins (Kacey), David Ussery (Tabitha) and Elizabeth Joy Marie Brookins, her great grandchildren Blaydon, Kaleigh, Audrey, Dace, Bella, Khloie, Kyler, Tenley, Madeline, Avery, Cole and Bristol, her brother Joe Fowler (Ann), her sister Gay Smith. The family will meet at the home of Lisa Ussery at 1743 South Poplar Springs Church Rd, Dublin, GA 31021. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
