Joy Rowland Robinson

Mrs. Joy Rowland Robinson passed away on Wednesday, June 29th at her home in Wrightsville, after an extended illness. Mrs. Joy loved the people of Wrightsville and Johnson County. She took great pride in her many years of service on the Development Authority of Wrightsville – Johnson County and on the Beautification Committee. She was a longtime active member of Brown Memorial Baptist Church. She had a steadfast dedication to her family. Mrs. Joy was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Robinson Sr. and by her daughter Susan R. Martin. Survivors include her daughter Brenda R. Adams (Steve), her son Andy Robinson Jr. (Marcia), her grandchildren Blake (Alli) Adams, Chandler Adams, Brooke Martin, Cody Robinson and Anna Kate Robinson. Her great grandchildren include Maura Martin, Mackenzie Yoder and Olivia Adams. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at 2:00 P.M. at Westview Cemetery. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
