Joy F. Smith

Graveside funeral services for Joy F. Smith, age 75, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 7, 2021 in Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. L.T. Logue officiating. Mrs. Smith was born on May 15, 1946, in Wadley, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otha F. Fordham and Christine Rawlins Fordham, two brothers, Otha F. Fordham, Jr. and James (Jimmy) Fordham, and her husband, Oscar Lee Smith, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Smith passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, in Treutlen County Health and Rehab. She is survived by her children, Oscar Lee (Cathy) Smith, Cherie Smith, and Marie Smith all of Adrian, five grandchildren, Caylee Smith, Heather Smith, Josh (Ashley) Chafin, Crissy Chafin, and Justin Chafin, and 6 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Springs Baptist Church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
