Joyce Queen Ledger

Funeral services for Joyce Queen Ledger, age 60 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Kenny Rowland will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the funeral home. Mrs. Ledger was born October 23, 1960 in Clayton, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Floyd John and Lillian Welborn Queen. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Queen Wilson. She was a member of Brewton Baptist Church. She was a medical receptionist at Washington County Internal Medicine. Mrs. Ledger passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Ledger is survived by her significant other, Russell J. Strickland of Tennille, brothers, Thomas Earl (Wanda) Queen of Gray, and Earnest Jackson (Joy) Queen of Gray, a sister, Emily Queen (Alton) Rowland of East Dublin, a brother-in-law, Raymond Wilson of Wrightsville, and several nieces and nephews. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
