Juanita Koontz

Juanita Koontz was born on April 4, 1932, by the maiden name Cobb in Gardner, Louisiana. Her life led her to finally graduate high school at the age of 35 and lead a 23-year career as a psychiatric nurse in Alpena, Michigan. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and, always a lady, the finer things in life. You could never catch her without her hair brushed and a beautiful sweater. She was an avid Christian, reading her bible 7 times through and praying every night and day, and now walks the golden streets of heaven. Juanita led a full life and was 89 years of age upon her passing in Cumming, Ga on July 19, 2021. She leaves a hole behind, and the world is quieter with her gone. She was an extraordinary woman. A private burial was held in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel in charge of the funeral arrangements.
