Juanita Powell Maddox

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Powell Maddox, age 80 will be held at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Mrs. Maddox was born on August 25, 1935 in Sandersville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Powell and Easter Nix Finey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Winston Maddox, 2 sons, Charles Henry Maddox, and David Eugene Maddox, and a stepfather, Henry Finey. She was a member of Brewton Baptist Church. She was retired from Tomorrow's Heirlooms. Mrs. Maddox passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Maddox is survived by her son, Gregory Benell Maddox of East Dublin, 4 grandchildren, Charles Derek Maddox, Melissa Erin Bayles, Joshua David Maddox, and Dustin Kent Maddox, and 6 great grandchildren, Carley Carolyn Maddox, Chance Alexander Davis, Cuyler Delaney Maddox, Harrison Samuel Bayles, Cayla Marie Maddox, and Hudson Robert Maddox. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Maddox to the Christian Family Center New Life Program at 1180 GA Highway 29, Soperton, GA 30457. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
