Memorial Services for Julia Elaine Kilgore, age 81 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Olivet Baptist Church. Rev. Max Rodgers will officiate.


Mrs. Kilgore was born on January 30, 1944, in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late L.B. Dukes and Della Hendricks Dukes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Kilgore; a brother, Randy Dukes; and a sister, Shelby Miller. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. She was employed as a Head Bank Teller for the Farmers State Bank. She was a member of the Bridge Club at the Dublin Country Club. Mrs. Kilgore passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at her residence.


Mrs. Kilgore is survived by her 2 sons, Jay Wesley Runyon and Jeffery Lance Runyon; 3 grandchildren, Wesley Runyon, Amber Hadden (Nikkie), and Serenity Faircloth (Austin); 2 nieces, Kelly Miller Greene and Rose Crosslin; 3 nephews, Lee Miller, Jason Miller, and Chad Dukes; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.


The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Olivet Baptist Church.


Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
