June Orea Jordan

Funeral services for Mrs. June Orea Howell Jordan, age 69, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Ivey Baptist Church with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Louis Pearce, Rev. Thomas Simmons and Rev. Donnie Baker will officiate. Mrs. Jordan was born July 7, 1945 in Sandersville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late W.D. & Orea Walters Howell, a daughter, Lila Orea Jordan and sister, Nannelle Price. She was an active member of Ivey Baptist Church and the Woman's Missionary Union. She was also a member of the Auxiliary of Gideon's International. Mrs. Jordan passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Joe Jordan of Wrightsville, a daughter, Holly Jordan (Rondall) Dykes of Kathleen, a son, Chris (Lacretia) Jordan of Wrightsville, a brother, Danny Howell of Tennille, a sister, Linda Mallette of Dublin, three grandchildren, Jordan Dykes (David) Ussery, Christopher Jordan and Colby Jordan and two great-grandchildren, Dracen Ussery and Jaycee Ussery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
