Karen Sumner Conley

Memorial services for Karen Sumner Conley, age 60, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 29, 2024, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Danny Duggar will officiate.

Mrs. Conley was born on March 6, 1964, in Swainsboro, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Lee "Sonny" Sumner. Jr., and her mother, Annette Logue. She worked for Johnson State Prison as a licensed practical nurse. She enjoyed reading, shopping and traveling. She was a passionate advocate of organ donation. She was a caring person who never met a stranger and made friends with anyone she met. Mrs. Conley passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024, in Emory University Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, John Conley of East Dublin; son, Scott Sumner of Centerville; daughter, Jacie Conley of East Dublin; sister, Donna Wilkinson of East Dublin; brother, Chris Sumner (Laurie) of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
