Kathryn Estyne Brantley

Funeral services for Kathryn Estyne Brantley, age 92 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Brown Memorial Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Dr. Lane Collins and Rev. Randy Adams will officiate. Mrs. Brantley was born on December 7, 1924 and is a native of Wrightsville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Thomas Blizzard her mother, Bertie Hutcheson Blizzard, her husband, Robert Thomas Brantley, a son, Dr. Ricky Brantley, a brother, Charles G. Blizzard, and a sister, Nell Boulineau. She was a member of Brown Memorial Baptist Church. She worked at Apparel Craft and Crown Tex, and was also a homemaker. Mrs. Brantley passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Brantley is survived by her son, Andy Lamar (Karen) Brantley of Wrightsville, a daughter-in-law, Elaine Brantley of Dublin, 2 brothers, William Elmer (Martha) Blizzard of Adrian, and Olon Lamar Blizzard of Adrian, 2 sisters, Joanne Ledford of Wrightsville, and Linda Joiner of Wrightsville, 5 grandchildren, Susan (Clark) Dailey, Kati (Lew) Ayotte, Rick Brantley, Andrea Brantley, and Andrew Brantley, and 6 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Andrew Brantley, Jim Ledford, Rick Brantley, Clark Dailey, Lew Ayotte, Kevin Blizzard, and Scott Stephens The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Brown Memorial Baptist Church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
