Kay Gilbert Sanders

Memorial services for Kay Gilbert Sanders, age 70, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Steven Doron Pierce officiating.

Mrs. Sanders was born on September 21, 1952, in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Wendell and Betty Spivey Gilbert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brian Ernie Sanders and her brother, Greg Gilbert. Mrs. Sanders passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon.

She is survived by her husband, Ernie V. Sanders of Dublin; daughter, Morgan Ashley (Jon-David) of Dublin; and grandchildren McKinley Ashley, Keagan Ashley and Koen Ashley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. at the funeral home.
