Kaye Waldrep Pope

Graveside funeral services for Kaye Waldrep Pope, age 76 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Providence Cemetery. Rev. Larry Waldrep will officiate.

Mrs. Pope was born December 21, 1946, in Dexter, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Bot and Gertrude Estes Waldrep. She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Waldrep. She was a member of Dexter Baptist Church. She was a retired from Forstman and Company as a Weaver and was also a homemaker. Mrs. Pope passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at Dublinair Nursing Home and Rehab.

Mrs. Pope is survived by her husband; John F. Pope of Dexter, a son; Shawn Killingsworth of Dexter, a daughter; Wendy White of Byron, a brother; John Waldrep of Ailey, 2 grandchildren; Jordan Howell, and David White, Jr. and 4 great-grandchildren; Aubrie Wingo, Kali Howell, Owen Howell, and Sophia White.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Waldrep, Matt Waldrep, Kelland Waldrep, David White, Jr., and Taylor Howell.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 2, 2023, at the funeral home.
