Kenneth V. Oliver

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Venson Oliver, age 77, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Tucker's Grove Holiness Church with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Smith and Rev. Matt Reese will officiate. Mr. Oliver was born February 5, 1939 in Wrightsville, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Charlie Venson Oliver and Willie Bell May Oliver. He attended Tucker's Grove Holiness Church and was self-employed as a farmer. He was also a supporting partner of Catch-a-Dream Foundation. Mr. Oliver passed away Monday, February 22, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Jane Lord Oliver of Wrightsville, a son, Shane Oliver of Carey, two daughters, Tiffany Guiragossian of Wrightsville and Sabrina Wiggins of Sandersville, a sister, Cherry Oliver Deal of Juliette, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2:45 P.M. prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Clay Oliver, Ryan Wiggins, Brandon Wiggins, Evan Wiggins, Jed Evans and Michael Harrison. Gene Brantley, Jack Evans and Jurl Conner will serve as honorary escorts. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
