Kenny Alton Dixon

Funeral services for Kenneth "Kenny" Alton Dixon, age 63, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 10, 2025, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Brother Jay Moore and Pastor David Laughner will officiate.

Kenny was born on September 3, 1961, in Dublin, Georgia. He was the owner and operator of K & D Towing. He was a hardworking man and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Lynyrd Skynyrd band, and he loved being at the beach. He was preceded in death by his mother, Addie Sue Jackson Dixon. Kenny passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the MUSC Medical Center in Charleston, SC.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sandi Johnson Dixon of Dublin, his daughter, Dana Collier (David) of Macon, his son, Dylan Lane Dixon of Dublin, father, Billy R. Dixon of Dublin, brother, William Keith Dixon of Dublin, and 3 grandchildren, Blayne Roberson, Cash Roberson, and Allie Gore.

Pallbearers will be Frank Helton, Keith Pitts, Michael Snipes, Torrey Sullivan, Mark Tarpley and Steven Thomas. Honorary pallbearer will be Terry Smith. The family extends a special invitation to the Dublin High School Class of 1979 and to the Towing Services of Laurens and surrounding counties.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
