Larry Dale Arnold

Funeral services for Larry Dale Arnold, age 85 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 17, 2025, in the Richard N. Stanley, Jr. Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel, with interment to follow at Liberty Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Sammy Hall will officiate.

Mr. Arnold was born on September 10, 1939, in Bluefield, West Virginia. He was the son of the late William Alfred Arnold and Ola Coner Arnold. He was also preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Doug Arnold, and Bill Arnold; and a sister, Penny Mary Francis. He retired from United Transportation as a truck driver. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. He was a jack of all trades and could do just about anything you put in front of him. He proudly served his country during Vietnam in the United States Army. Mr. Arnold passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife, Billie Etta Arnold of Wrightsville; 4 sons, John (Penny) Arnold, of Wrightsville, Larry Alfred Arnold of Wrightsville, James Douglas Arnold of Millen, and David "Randy" Arnold of Wrightsville; 2 daughters, Valerie Schimenti of Daytona Beach, FL, and Dreama June Wilcher of Wrightsville; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larry Alfred Arnold, David Arnold, Arthur "Alex" Fryzel, and Paul Arnold.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the funeral home.
