Larry Marsh, Sr.

Graveside services for Larry Marsh, Sr., age 77, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Lamar Kersey officiating. Mr. Marsh was born March 19, 1945 in Johnson County to the late Alton and Eva Mae Walker Marsh. He was owner and operator of Larry Marsh Trucking and loved logging. He enjoyed watching westerns and listening to Don Williams songs. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Mr. Marsh passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Serenity Place Hospice. He is survived by his wife, Lois Marsh, son, Larry Marsh, Jr., and three daughters, Lisa Marsh, Amanda Marsh (John Todd), and Heather Marsh (Hugh Foskey), 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mike Kitchens, Trent Brown, Benji Hodges, John Todd, Wally Gold, Austin Williford, and Rhett Knight. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Phillips, Tyler Phillips and Logan Jenkins. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
