Larry W. Mason

Larry W. Mason, age 87, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11th at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Browher officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Mason was born in Wilkinson County, Georgia on October 7, 1938, to the late Joseph Francis Mason and Daisy Idell Whitaker Mason. He worked with Bearings & Drive for over 50 years. He also owned and operated several family businesses throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his wife Annette Hasty Mason, brothers John, Dick, Durwood and Joe, his sisters Annie and Winnie. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons Randy Mason (Angie) and Jay Mason (Jaye) all of Dublin, his daughter Cindy Mason Alligood of Macon, his brother Harold Mason (Nancy) of Milledgeville, brother-in-law Morris Wood of Milledgeville and a sister-in-law Jackie Mason, five grandchildren, Kinsley Mason Smith (Cameron), Kaitlyn Mason Williamson (Logan), Ashlyn Alligood, Whit Mason (Avery) and Laura Beth Mason, four great grandchildren Averly Jo Smith, Fischer Smith, Ila Kait Williamson, Leni Grace Williamson and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church.
