Larry Wiggins

Funeral services for Mr. Benton Larry Wiggins, age 72, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Powell's Chapel United Methodist Church with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Rev. Alan Heath will officiate. Mr. Wiggins was born December 30, 1943 in Kite, Georgia; he was the son of the late Leon B. Wiggins and Ruby Ivey Wiggins. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era having served with the United States Marines. He was a member of Powell's Chapel United Methodist Church, the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and was self-employed as a diesel mechanic. Mr. Wiggins passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Dianne F. Wiggins of Kite, two daughters, Mandy W. (Chris) Pope of Kite and Lisa J. Wiggins of Sandersville, two sisters, Shirley M. Horne of Dublin and JoAnn W. Harris of Bartow and a grandson, Carter Wilkes Pope. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eddie Henry, Jason Lee, Todd Fortner, Wayne Ivey, Kenneth Carroll and Wayne Ward. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
