Laura Nell Harden

Funeral services for Laura Nell Harden, age 87 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Rock Springs Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Nolon McDaniel and Rev. Bobby Jones will officiate. Mrs. Harden was born on December 26, 1928 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late L.A. and Eula Mae McConnell Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Keith Wendell Harden, a grandson, Gus Harden, a brother, Harris Wood, and a sister, Joyce Wood. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She was retired from Mohawk Carpet Company. Mrs. Harden passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Treutlen Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Harden was survived by her son, Mark (Barbara) Harden of Glenwood, a brother, Billy (Hazel) Wood of Dublin, 4 sisters, Audrey (John) Lovett, Grace Harden of Glenwood, Ophelia Corbett of Jacksonville, FL, and Mary Jo Haynes of Gray, 2 grandchildren, Megan (Josh) Sutton, and Beth (Josh) Mullis, a granddaughter-in-law, Amber Harden and 5 great grandchildren, Breanna Durden, Brent Durden, Jaelynn Mullis, Bryson Sutton, and Laura Beth Mullis. Pallbearers will be Stubbs Harden, Danny Harden, Benny Wood, William Lovett, Ronnie Wood, and Jim Raynolds. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Rock Springs Baptist Church.
