Laura Elder Youmans

Memorial services for Laura Elder Youmans, age 61 will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mrs. Youmans was born October 10, 1962, in Nashville, TN. She was preceded in death by her father, Dudley Orlando Elder, Jr. She was employed as a baker at Kroger where she worked for over 10 years. She loved going to the beach and was an avid horse lover. She was of the Catholic Faith. Mrs. Youmans passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Piedmont Augusta University.

Mrs. Youmans is survived by her husband, Scott Youmans of Martinez, a mother, Kathleen A. Elder of Dublin; 2 sons, Phillip Coleman of Dublin, and Franklin Mihok of Wrightsville; a daughter, Virginia Coleman of North Augusta, SC; 2 brothers, Dudley O. Elder, III of Florida, and Preston M. Elder of Stockbridge; and 3 grandchildren.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
