Lawrence Edward Rewis, Sr.

Lawrence Edward Rewis, Sr., age 76, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Rewis was born June 21, 1946, in Reidsville, Georgia to the late Lawrence and Lottie Mae Powell. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a truckdriver. He was a minister, daddy, granddaddy, brother, uncle, and he thought he was a good carpenter. He is survived by his 5 sons, Tony Parish (Brandy), Lawrence Edward Rewis, Jr. (Michelle), John Pate (Marsha), Timothy Pate, and Andrew Pate, 2 daughters Pamela Garren (Leon) and LaDonna Harrison, brothers Johnny Rewis, Earnest Collins (Sissy), and Phil Collins, sisters Dean Kersey, Carolyn Oliver, Annie Bell Sisson, and Barbara Bell (Don Holland), 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A private service will be held at a later date. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
