Leland Clifford Chafin

Graveside services for Leland Clifford Chafin, age 60, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. W.L. Currie officiating. Mr. Chafin was born November 19, 1960, in Treutlen County. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Chafin, and maternal grandparents, Dewey Lee Hester Sr., and Georgie Walker Hester, and paternal grandparents, John Chafin and Lily Wynn Chafin. For most of his life he worked as a diesel mechanic. He loved his family and grandchildren. Mr. Chafin passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Fairview Park Hospital. Mr. Chafin is survived by his mother, Editha Hester Chafin, children, Justin Chafin (Chelsea Hester), Crissy Chafin (Justin Jones), and Josh Chafin (Ashley), grandchildren, Caedon Chafin, Maxx Chafin, Abby Melton, Emma Chafin, Ethan Chafin, Anna Kate Chafin, and Brayden Munoz, and siblings, Phyllis Chafin and Suzanne Keene (Marty). The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. on Wednesday at the cemetery. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
