Lessie Meeks Tanner

Graveside funeral services for Lessie Meeks Tanner, age 85, will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 16, 2024, in Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Rev. Hugh Spivey will officiate.

Mrs. Tanner was born on January 15, 1939, in Soperton, Georgia. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Alice Spivey Meeks, brother J.T. Meeks, sister Syble Gillis and her husband of fifty years Arthur Gene Tanner. Mrs. Tanner passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Treutlen County Health and Rehab.

She is survived by her 3 sons Mitchell (Angelia)Tanner of East Dublin, Doyle (Angie) Tanner of Dublin, and Kevin (Jamie) Tanner of East Dublin, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ashley Tanner, Chance Tanner, Ricky Sterling, Jimmy Sterling, Hunter Shepherd, Chucky Mason and Josh Price.

The family will receive Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until at the Resurrection Assembly of God Church, 802 Soperton Ave. East Dublin, Georgia.
