Linda Riner

Mrs. Linda "Bonnie" Riner, age 75, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Scott Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness. Mrs. Riner was born February 8, 1940 in Swainsboro, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Irwin & Alma Henry Ridgdill. She was a 1976 graduate of Swainsboro Technical College. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center and Wrightsville Manor before retiring from Scott Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Riner loved taking trips to the mountains and could often times be found making arts & crafts. She also had a love for her flowers and dogs. She is survived by her daughter, Angie (Bill) Griffin, a son, M.T. Riner, IV, a sister, NaDean (Randy) Moore, four grandchildren, Anthony Akridge, Cassie Griffin, Heather Riner and Tee Riner and three great-grandchildren, Harley Akridge, Alex Akridge and Logan Akridge all of Kite and a niece, Rhonda (Bill) Herringdine of Wrightsville. A memorial service for Mrs. Riner will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 12, 2015 at Corinth United Methodist Church. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
