Linda "Jody" Russell

Graveside services for Mrs. Linda Jo "Jody" Russell, age 72, will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, 2020 in Dublin Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Mr. Thurmon Foskey officiating. Mrs. Russell was born June 6, 1947 in Springfield, Illinois to parents Harry and Gwendolyn Hatfield. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Jody was a thoughtful, giving person with a great sense of humor, and was loved by many. Jody passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Russell is survived by her husband Clarence Allen "C.A." Russell of Dublin, daughter Tammy Allen (Tom) of Dublin, granddaughter Megan Marie Allen of Dublin, special niece Sherry Darsey (Jeffery) of Savannah, two sisters Martina Wiessing (Jack) of Jacksonville, FL and Deanna Curtis (Louis) of New Berlin, IL, and several other nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the services will be livestreamed on our Facebook page. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
