Lindal Carter

A family only funeral service for Lindal Keyton Carter, age 76, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 13, 2021 with Rev. Chris Mitchell officiating. A committal graveside service for the public will immediately follow in Westview Cemetery with Rev. Harry Hadden officiating. Mrs. Carter was born on December 4, 1944 in Dublin, Georgia. Lindal was a retired educator and the coordinator for the Johnson County Boys and Girls Club. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Eulie B. and Nellie Tanton Keyton, husband Billy Alvin Carter, and son Billy Derek Carter. Mrs. Carter passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Fairview Park Hospital. Mrs. Carter is survived by her son Chan (Erica H.) Carter of Wrightsville, grandchildren Jackson Lee Carter and Crew Keyton Carter of Wrightsville, and brother Sammy (Marie) Keyton of Wrightsville. Pallbearers will be Shane Keyton, Blake Keyton, Zachary Keyton, Shawn Keyton, Johnny Keyton and Jason Carter. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
