Linnie B. Claxton

Graveside funeral services for Linnie B. Claxton, age 78 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Roger Holley will officiate.

Mrs. Claxton was born September 29, 1945, in Adrian, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Tildon Calvin and Effie Redfern Beasley. She was a retired truck driver at United Transportation. She was a member of Brown Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Claxton passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Claxton is survived by her husband, Mike Claxton of Wrightsville; 3 sons, Calvin (Rose) Claxton of Wrightsville, John (Jennifer) Claxton of Richmond Hill, and Mike Claxton, II of Blue Springs, NE; 2 sisters, Jeanne McLendon of Brunswick, and Angie Hooks of Soperton; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the funeral home.
