Lizzie Pearl Hooks

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Pearl Hooks, age 95, will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 22, 2019 at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church. Rev. Danny Thomas will officiate. Mrs. Hooks was born September 14, 1924 in Harrison, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late J.W. and Lily Page Knight. She was also preceded in death by her husband Milton Hooks, siblings James Knight and Edna Mae Roberson, and grandson Michael Alan Rachels. She was a member of Sandersville First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Hooks passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 at Oconee Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Hooks is survived by her three sons, Tim "Gary" (Sandra) Burgamy of Milledgeville, Joe (Pam) Hooks and Jimmy W. (Ramona) Hooks both of Tennille, a daughter, Glenda Hammett White of Sandersville, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Stanley Funeral Home in Wrightsville. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
