Louise Rigby Allen

October 4, 1938 — March 6, 2020

Louise Rigby Allen, 81, of Dublin passed away Thursday, March 6, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. The family will receive family and friends Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory. Services will be held on 2:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2020 at Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Danville, GA. Rev. Milton Thomas and David Rigby officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Rigby, Larry Rigby, Billy Graham, Chris Rigby, Ricky Williams and Justin Rigby. Mrs. Allen was born in Dublin, Georgia, the daughter of the late Earnest James (EJ) and Annie Mae Wynn Rigby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Coleman Allen; four brothers James Rigby, Joseph Rigby, Algerrine Garnto, Preston Garnto, and two sisters, Annie Murrell Garnto Graham and Mary Edna Graham. Mrs. Allen is survived by her children Michael Billy Wood of Middleburg, FL, Judy Wood Eubanks (David) of Rentz and Randy Clyde Thomas (Nannette) of Cadwell, her siblings, Rev. Edward Rigby (Lattner) of Thomaston, Georgia and Eunice Pope of Dublin, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many others who loved her and called her Granny or Ma. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
