Louise Williams

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Williams, age 86 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 28, 2015 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Rentz Cemetery. Rev. Tom Vann will officiate. Mrs. Williams was born on February 6, 1929 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Gordon Rowe and Dollie Dixon Rowe Gardner. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather Jimmy Gardner who raised her, and by her husband, Wiley Tommy Williams. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Rentz Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Williams passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Danny Williams of Rentz, 2 daughters, Brenda Fordham of East Dublin, and Debra (Doug) Eaves of Dublin, a brother, Eugene Gardner of Rentz, 3 grandchildren, Gerald (Tina) Thomas, Marty (Michelle) Thomas, and Mark Sterling, 6 great grandchildren, Heather Thomas, Wayne Thomas, Corey Thomas, Roger Dean Sterling, Jesse Cox, and Chelsea Blocker, a special daughter-in-law, Lorie Sterling, 2 special friends and caretakers, Teresa Rewis, and Dorothy Deshotel. The family would like to extend there gratitude to the Grady Care Center for the support that the staff provided to Mrs. Williams and the family in her final days. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
