Maggie M. Mimbs

Funeral services for Maggie M. Mimbs, age 92 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 30, 2021 in the Richard N. Stanley Jr. Memorial Chapel, with interment to follow at Foskey Family Cemetery. Rev. Sammy Hall will officiate. Mrs. Mimbs was born November 2, 1928, in Spring Lake, North Carolina. She the daughter of the late John Alexander and Annie Belle West Monroe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wade Loftin Mimbs, Jr., and a son Wade Loftin Mimbs, III. She was a member of Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene. She was retired from the Accounting Department at Southeast Paper Company. Mrs. Mimbs passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Scott Health and Rehab. Mrs. Mimbs is survived by her 2 daughters, Patricia Ann (Tom) Hightower of Wrightsville, and Bonnie West of Adrian, a daughter-in-law, Judy Mimbs of Adrian, 8 grandchildren, Larry (Heather) Brown of Cumming, Michele (Mike) Clay of Dexter, Jason (Alissa) Rich of Tallahassee, FL, and Trina (Timmy) Ricks of Adrian, April (Jason) Claxton of Adrian, Jamie (Ron) Clements of Wrightsville, Heather (Stoney) Hightower, Justin (Toni) Hightower, 18 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ron Clements, Gage Clements, Hunter Claxton, Jason Claxton, Jason Rich and Michael Clay. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
