Funeral services for Margie Nell Fowler Warren, age 63, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Keith Anderson and Rev. Tharpe will officiate.
Mrs. Warren was born on August 20, 1951 in Danville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Fowler. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Fowler. She was a member of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church and was a retired forklift driver of 24 years from Lithonia Lighting Company. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who never met a stranger. Mrs. Warren passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Fairview Park Hospital.
Mrs. Warren is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Donald Ray Warren, Sr. of Dublin, her mother, Ruby Kitchens Fowler of Danville, 2 children, Donald Ray( Stephanie Moore) Warren, Jr. of Danville, and Tiffany Michelle (Ron) Hall of Macon, 6 sisters, Elaine Middleton of Danville, Melissa Darnell of Macon, Johnnie Bledsoe of Perry, Nancy Johnson of Cochran, Sandra Hunt of Byron, and Mary Williams of Cochran, a brother, Alfred Fowler of Salem, 5 grandchildren, Allen Michael Bruner, Jon Tyler Warren, Chelsie Shyann Womble, Elizabeth Miracle Brooke Warren, and Donald Ray Warren, III, 2 brothers-in-law, James H. Warren of Dublin, and Charles Dennis Warren of Cochran, a sister-in-law, Mary C. Mullis of East Dublin, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Gratham, Gary Patisaul, Patrick Young, Wayne Davis, Ken Grey, and Donald Ray Warren, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
