Margie Bryans White

Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Bryans White, age 86 will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment to follow at Northview Cemetery. Rev. Darren Talley will officiate. Mrs. White was born on October 7, 1929 in Dublin, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late William Brooks and Ruth Dupree Bryans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Christopher G. White, Jr. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Covington. She always loved to sing in the Choir at Jefferson Street Baptist Church when she came home to Dublin. She was a homemaker. Mrs. White passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. White is survived by her son, Doug and wife, Dona White of Social Circle, and 3 grandchildren, Ashley King of Hattiesburg, MS, Alayne Melancon of Houston, TX, and Cassie Dardar of Cut Off, LA. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel have charge of funeral arrangements.
