Marie Truelove Reeves

Funeral services for Marie Truelove Reeves, age 84, will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Dublin Church of God. Rev. Steve Hardeman, Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Shirley Fortune will officiate. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Mrs. Reeves was born in Homer, GA on January 20, 1936 to the late Tom William Truelove and Lillie Mae Truelove Mimbs. She was a member of the Dublin Church of God. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Earnest Lenard Reeves, daughters Vickie Watkins and Carol Darlene Reeves, and siblings Roy Daniel, Thomas (T.W.) Truelove, Albert (A.B.) Truelove, Marion (Tiny) Truelove and Jesse Mimbs. Mrs. Reeves passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at Scott Rehab and Health. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her children Lenard (Tammy) Reeves of Dublin, David (Shelba) Reeves of East Dublin, Jean (Buddy) Cox of Willow Springs, MO, Robyn Reeves Mason of East Dublin, Shirley Reeves (Mike) Fortune of East Dublin and Tommy Carrera, brother Junior (Madelyn) Mimbs, sisters Ann Dupree of Callahan, FL, Martha Ann Mimbs of Forest Park, and Lois Towle of Cadwell, several grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Billy Clark, Jason Clark, Charlie Clark, Taylor Fortune, Eric Mimbs and David Reeves. Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
