Marilyn Sumner Soles Evans

Graveside funeral services for Marilyn Sumner Soles Evans, age 85 will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Sumner Anthony Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Sumner will officiate.

Mrs. Evans was born December 8, 1938, in Wrightsville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Robert Bobby Sumner and Lizzie Jane Wyatt Sumner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Prentice Evans and her son, Morris Soles. She has spent most of her life in Macon, Georgia. She was loving great-grandmother to her five great grandchildren. She was a homemaker. She passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Shamrock Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her brother, George Sumner; 2 grandchildren, Scott Soles and Amy Soles Robertson, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the residence of George Sumner at 424 Lord's Pond Road, Wrightsville, Georgia 31096.
