Marion Kimathy "Kim" Butler

Memorial services for Marion Kimathy "Kim" Butler, age 74 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 17, 2022, in the Chan Stanley Memorial Chapel of Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory.

Mr. Butler was born April 12, 1948, in Reidsville, Georgia. He was the son of the late Marion Eugene and Mary Elizabeth Gillis Butler. He lived in Dublin for 20 years before moving away and then eventually moving back to Dublin 10 years ago. He was of the Baptist Faith. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He was retired as a Procurement Specialist in the Civil Service for United States Air Force. Mr. Butler passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Butler is survived by his wife, Carol Sue Stapleton Butler of Dublin; 2 sons, Robert Kimothy (Heather Dawn) Butler of Dayton, OH, and Jeffry Marion (Janelle Arlene) Butler of Dublin; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 17, 2022, at Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Butler to the Serenity Gives Foundation (Agape Hospice) at 1111 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, GA 31021.
